The Big Red Barn... Shryocks Corn Maze has been a fall event for the past 7 years. It is alot of fun and we love to do it. The first year we went was Halloween day and we went close to nighttime and my main worry was being in this huge cornfield maze in the dark...having people jump out at me. I specifically remember saying to a worker there.
"having people with play machete's jumping out at a woman, a black woman at that, at night in a cornfield...is not good.'
They assured me that it would be fine.
I assured them that seriously...it is not a good idea
Needless to say, after 2 hours, we did get out in time before the haunted maze begun
This time was made very interesting because we got to meet one of the family members who own the farm and they explained to us how they prepared and got the corn maze ready every year. Who knew you need to be engineer to do this...
I kid but it does take a lot of mathmatical skill to do it.
