The Strand Arcade, cutting through from Sadler Gate towards The Strand in Derby. This, along with the associated building, built during the 1870's is grade II listed. The original idea was formulated between the then Lord mayor and railway contractor Sir Abraham Woodiwiss and was opened in 1881. The arcade was extensively refurbished in 2006 with work to the walls and glazed ceiling.
