230. Old Tom Morris: a Golf ball Maker's Hut
atelier ying, nyc
The German architect Josef Paul Kleihues wonderful tiny house concept provides the basis for a greenskeeper's house for making 19th century feathery golf balls. The sail of Kleihues design is an indicator of the wind direction for the opening drive. The hut for making golf balls is playfully styled with circular windows that will not let in stray shots yet still provide ventilation and adequate illumination for the arduous process of making expensive featheries.
