CSA Autobike 03
This is the drive side of the rear wheel of a CSA Autobike that showed up at our shop yesterday. The three weights on the wheel slide along the spokes, moving the shifting ring outwards as the wheel spins faster. The derailleur provides tension for the chain as well as the jockey spring needed to shift to a larger sprocket (slower speed) as you slow down. The crankset is also a freewheel, whicl allows the wheel mechanism to shift down while you're coasting. This is an ingenious mechanism.
