50037 at Reading
Class 50 no 50037 "Illustrious" arrives at Reading with the 17.00SO Oxford-Paddington on 22 April 1989. This formed my train back to London after a successful couple of hours at Reading for photography, during which I also managed to photo 50023/50035 on Paddington-Oxfords and 50034/50040 on other workings.
50037 was new, as D437, in September 1968 and was withdrawn in September 1991. 50037 was scrapped by MC Processors in Glasgow in December 1992.
