37197 at Kettering - 1
Class 37 no 37197, in a rather unusual two-tone green livery, arrives at Kettering on the 15.15 from Melton Mowbray on 30 August 2004 - GWR 4-6-0 no 4965 "Rood Ashton Hall" is on the other end of the train, and will haul the eight coaches plus dead Class 37 as the 16.50 Kettering-Melton Mowbray via Harringworth viaduct.
The erstwhile D6897 (new to Landore in April 1964) was, I think, working for West Coast Railways at this date, but was taken out of service and cut up by EMR at Kingsbury in May 2012.
