Venetian tiles quilt

Quilted patchwork wallhanging, made from batik cotton fabrics. I had several sketches of this design from the floor of San Marco's basilica in Venice. Its a classic Attic Windows design, which I always enjoy doing, but was just not getting round to it. When I saw the pattern from Christine Porter's great book "Viva Venezia", the colours were so true to the original tiles, I was inspired all over again and got to work immediately.
