Pehr Luths stambok

Denna tunna stambok har tillhört Pehr Luth (1744-1836) under åren runt 1757-1758.

Pehr Luths far, Axel P. Luth (1708-1781), var vid denna tid kyrkoherde i Flistad, Västergötland. Tillskrifterna riktar sig till en ung man, och flera av personerna har rört sig kring hans far i Skara stift.

Pehr Luth blev sedermera lektor i Skara och bibliotekarie vid Skara Gymnasii Bibliothek 1773-1803. Troligen har häftet hamnat i bibliotekets ägo som donation.

Stamboken består av ett enda lägg i formatet 10,5 x 16,5 cm och har ett i ryggen fastsytt omslag av blocktryckt papper i formatet 11,5 x 16,5 cm.

Detta lilla häfte har sedan tidigare placerats i svit tillsammans med bibliotekets övriga tio stamböcker.
