Kaziranga Sunset
From an August 1986 Kodachrome- slightly dulled colours but rather well preserved still. Taken from the Moh Miri bird watching tower on Hollongi hill. The river Mora Difloo closest and then the slim outline of the Mighty Brahmaputra and in the far background are the lower reaches of the High Himalaya. Such an expansive view of tumbling and gyrating clouds are common here as the cold air from the Himalaya to the north meets the warm humid monsoon stuffiness of the narrow Upper Assam Valley.
