The only visual sign of winter..

The frozen rivers of Ladakh are the only sign usually to indicate that its winter. Not much snow.

 

This picture was taken early this week about 30 kms SSE of Hanle going towards Imis la on the International Border between ladakh and Tibet. The map wrongly shows a road when actually there are none. Only rough tracks.
