Some inscriptions found here suggest that women could have been leaders of that bygone stone age community, which lived primarily by hunting.
Incidentally, such stones are found from Gilgit and Chilas in NW Pakistan through Kashmir and Ladakh to the NE of India (Meghalaya and Nagaland).
