Elephants in India need help. No doubt of that. Their habitats are being parcelled out as fields. But is this the way to do it? By spending 527,899* + 154,726 on Project support costs
(includes management, supervision technical
support), managing & administrating the projects, and Managing and administrating the charity respectively!
So, most of the £963,945 is gone in management and organisation!
The elephant is not on the brink of extinction, and will be here even after the 30 years that this charity has given it.
Without this hype the elephants will still survive. Hurrah.
