"The human eye sees differently to the eye of the camera. The need to tune in to the compatibilities, and limitations of the camera, may be the biggest single lesson most aspiring photographers must learn." Joe Cornish in his exceptional book "Working the Light".

Cherry Creek State Park, Englewood, CO

Although the Cherry Creek State Park is not as beautiful for landscape photography as most state parks in Colorado, it is a very convenient place for me as it is very close to my home (5-minute drive). it is a wonderful place to practice and learn landscape photography. It needs some imagination and creativity to find good composition and lighting. The more I explore, the more I discover how beautiful it is. Although the place has not changed, the light has never been the same. To me, I always capture the light but not the landscape itself. We have >300 sunshine days/year. Therefore, the opportunity is unlimited here.

I strongly believe practice is fundamental to success for everything in life including photography. At least for me, it's been working very well.
