This Week in the Garden, July 5
by Bookhenge
Sometimes you wish the garden critters could take a few photos and describe what they think is happening in the garden ;-)
Afterall, they are creatures, too, and have a unique perspective on what needs to happen to take care of nature.
Wendell Berry, whom I am happy to report is alive and well and still writing at 91 (thank you, Jane, for the good news and correction) has written, with Ellen Davis, The Art of Being Creatures.
It's a meditation on caring for the Earth and its creatures.

And learn more about our work in the garden this week, on both Saturday morning and Tuesday evening, through these photos.
Special shout-out to Jane's Altrusa Group for volunteering Tuesday evening.
