Saturday in the Garden, June 21st
by Bookhenge
We spruce up the garden and everyone, including our nature friends seem to enjoy it more. Maybe too much more.
You'll see photostories this week of bunnies munching on morning glories -- which make a really good native plant distractor. In fact, veterinarian teaching recent workshop on humane gardening suggested planting a "living fence" of native plants. That way the animals recognize them, munch away, and, hopefully, stay out.
You'll also see the mystery "prints" in the kitchen garden and Island garden. Hoof or paw???
And don't miss the antique gardening tool and carrot salute ;-)
