'Old mine road'

An old road on the famous Parys Mountain copper mine leads you towards the old workings. Having hoped for a nice sunrise I was disappointed as it never materialised. The only positive was that once the sun actually broke through the clouds it gave a beautiful warm light onto the heather. The windmill you see in the distance is the same one from my previous image. If you've never visited this historic copper mine I would recommend it to anyone.The history is wonderful as is the landscape. It's often compared to Mars due to its rock formations and colours.
