Pearl Crescent Butterfly (Phyciodes tharos)

Despite being a very common butterfly in most of the US, it can often times be a challenge to photograph. This species always seems to be pumping it's wings open and closed and thats when it will actually sit still long enough for a image. This species is realitivly small with a 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 inch wing span.

 

I think the plant is Yellow Hawkweed, but not 100% sure..
