Osprey (Pandion haliaetus)
This species goes into attack mode once it spots it's target in a matter of seconds. Trying to keep them in the camera frame has proven difficult. Their nictitating membrane closes over the eye just before impact to help protect the eye.
On many of the dives I've witnessed the Osprey comes in with such impact that it is completely submerged.
This image is a healthy crop, so far it's the only way I've been able to keep them in the frame.
