The northbound migration of many shorebird species to their nesting grounds comes to a peak along the Delaware Bayshore in northern Delaware and southern New Jersey during the last full moon of May... Most species depend on the eggs of the Horseshoe Crab to feed and fuel their journey north, many of them all the way to the arctic.

 

I usually go overboard on tight detailed images... It's what I enjoy, but I do shoot more habitat based images at times as well...
