Contour-HD on Pro-Tec helmet
After drilling two holes in the goggle mount, I used three zip-ties to hold the goggle mount to the helmet. A piece of inner tube between the two parts of the goggle mount keep the camera snug and dampens vibration. A fourth zip-tie serves as an attachment point for the safety lanyard - IMPORTANT - If the camera or mount comes undone the camera can't hit my face or neck while the lanyard is attached.
The zip-ties are slotted between the hard outer shell and the foam inner shell of the helmet. The zip-tie that runs left-right across the goggle mount is doing most of the work keeping the mount on the helmet. The other two zip-ties are mostly keeping the mount still.
