Evetts Creation window - St Oswin's Wylam Northumberland

In the Nave is an Leonard Evetts window, installed in 1991 in memory of Dr Edmund Spriggs and his wife Sheila. All three lights combine to illustrate Psalm 19.

The centre light is based on Old Testament imagery (brazen serpent which is a symbol of healing, the great sun illustrates a passage from the Book of Malachi).

The right hand light shows the divine hand issuing from clouds in the act of blessing under which are Northumberland plants Hyssop, Rosemary and Chervil as well as a butterfly and Red Squirrel.
