Warren Tavern reports itself to be the oldest tavern in Massachusetts and to have been visited by George Washington and Paul Revere among others. The building was constructed in 1780 during the American Revolution. Located in the Charlestown neighborhood north of the Charles River in view of Bunker Hill (the monument in the background).
