Anita's goal

This is part of the Martinsburg Roundhouse complex and is a rare example of 19th-century railroading technology. The roundhouse is located in Martinsburg, West Virginia, and has been a part of two major events in the history of the United States: the Civil War and the Great Railroad Strike of 1877. (per Google) As you can see there is a pretty solid fence there and Anita could not find a way to slip around it! This is just a small part of this whole roundhouse thing but it's pretty interesting. The Amtrak trains still stop here and one actually did shortly after we arrived.
