Tom Turkey
I woke to see this visitor in my yard yesterday. He was all puffed up in his glory .. .why? Turns out he took exception to the 2 Canada Geese that come every year and spend a couple of weeks on my pond, bathing, eating, and doing those things that wild Geese do in the springtime before going elsewhere to create their new family. And surprisingly, the Geese gave it up and flew away for the rest of the day. They are back this morning but no Turkey. As far as I could tell Mr Tom was protecting only one hen, who was across the stream out in the field and calmly feeding, but he was doing it to his Utmost! LOL Apologies for the poor quality, but was forced to shoot through a window and one that had a screen on it.
