Which Way?

I was sitting, quietly reading and watching the hummingbirds fight with each other in the rain when I happened to look up and here comes this turtle!! He was in between the cement of the patio and this drain pipe and he Obviously wanted to be on the other side of the pipe! So after a good look around he continued to the end of the pipe, went around it and booked it back up the hill and into the woods. What fun and the first turtle I've seen in the yard for a couple of years. This is an Eastern Box Turtle and based on eye color is probably a female. You can see an image of him going up the hill in the first comment box below. What a treat for my eyes to see! :) What hummingbirds? What book? LOL
