Rooster!
Sometimes on our journeys, Anita and I spot some pretty fantastic birds. I believe this one may just be the very rare Red Winged Black Tail Rooster. Highly sought after, rarely found he is a big boy... compare his size to the metal fence posts behind him. We were lucky enough to find him near the road scratching through the waist high weeds on a tiny gravel road in the wilds of Virginia! LOL...
