The prairie dogs in the Badlands National Park were the cutest things! They are a type of ground squirrel, found in the United States, Canada and Mexico. They used their front paws much like squirrels do. They whistle and call to one another constantly and if you whistle, their little heads will soon pop up out of their dens to see who's there. This one is munching out on some Prairie grass. They were great entertainment! :)
