This is Daryl making off with a prized piece of grass. He's named after one of the famous trio; Larry, Daryl and Daryl. In case you have never heard of them, here is a link to a short video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TN6UAzYY8qg I only had two chicks to hatch this year with two Mamas doing the hatching. The chicks look identical so I have no clue how the Mamas know which is which, especially when the chicks hang out together, but they know! The Other Daryl's portrait may show up here one day.... or not! Another pouring down rain sort of day and I wish I could send some of this to the ones of you who are suffering in heat and dryness..... Have a happy day anyway! :)
