Found on site in Scotland County with permission from the owners, July 2008.
This is an assortment of garden hoe heads that I dug from around the house. The Orange one in the back is from back in the swamp area that used to be the farm fields.
The back right one is in the best condition and as a different, possibly more modern construction. It was dug from about 6" down.
The other three were all 10" or more down. Two were on the west side of the house.
