This series was recently shot at the John Brown farm in North Elba, New York, which is just outside of Lake Placid in the Adirondacks. John Brown (May 9, 1800 – December 2, 1859) was an American abolitionist, and folk hero who advocated and practiced armed insurrection as a means to end all slavery.
