Practice Makes Perfect
I was shooting the sunrise a few days ago. When a bird started singing very close to me. It started one way, and then it sounded like another bird started singing too, but the sound was coming from the same exact place only about 20 feet away. Since I'm trying to record bird songs lately, I switched to video. The bird kept singing loudly very close to me, so I looked around and in the darkness, I could barely see him near the top of some bushes through a chain link fence. I walked as quietly as I could to get back around the fence so I could get a clearer shot. I got up there, and the bird was still sitting there! So I took a few dark shots, so I could try to ID the birds later.
