Mini fungi
Spotted this mini Mycena mushroom in the bark of a hornbeam tree. It's just about 5mm tall and sheltered in a small recess out of the storm. Whenever I'm out and about this time of year I can be found with my face up close to trees looking for mini mushrooms. Photo Kevin Keatley, Camera Nikon D7200, 18-200@170mm, F10, 1/60th sec.
