Following the article in the Daily Post about my U Boat photo www.dailypost.co.uk/news/local-north-wales-news/porth-new... I was approached by a local farmer who told me that he had a pelton wheel turbine on his farm, whom his father had told him that the valve unit that opened the water to the turbine was from the U boat that was scrapped at Porthmadog in 1922.It was interesting also to see that the turbine had been built by O.G. Jones engineers of Portmadoc of whom I have never heard of !
