A rather large munitions manufacturer situated it's manufacturing
plant near populated areas in Central NJ, on OCT 4, 1918 the plant blew sending rail cars filled with munitions for WW i uo to 1,2 miles away, major damage TO HOMES and burned and exploded for days...SHELLS AND MUNITIONS ARE STILL BEING FOUND TO THIS DAY .............old timers always talked about it and how they had to evac their homes and head north to Linden AND OTHER TOWNS........100 anniversary soon and some say it was SABOTAGE .....................................
