Prince Edward Island side of the Confederation Bridge

Shot from Carleton Cove, Prince Edward Island

This, the world's longest crossing over iced covered water (in winter of course), is 12.9 Km (8 miles) long. It connects the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. It opened for public crossing in 1997.
