Thunderhawk Transformation
This is my fourth or fifth version of the Thunderhawk. Maybe my sixth? It's been one of the tougher nuts to crack.
Every time I build a version, I eventually end up looking at it and thinking I can do better.
On this version, I allowed myself to use a little parts-forming to replicate the "wings" that folded out of the doors on the original toy. In order to justify this, I made it so the wings could be stored inside the rear of the car mode. So all the pieces are always accounted for in each mode.
Also in flight mode, the spoiler raises and the jet engines are revealed from behind the rear bumper.
