The Millennial Monument
The Millennial Monument on Heroes Square was erected to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of the Magyar conquest of Hungary. In the middle of the square is the tomb of the unknown solider. Two eclectic semicurcular colonnades, 5 m wide and 25 m deep, feature bronze statues.
