Point Bonita
Point Bonita Lighthouse at the entrance to San Francisco Bay. The original light tower was built on a hill out of sight to the right in 1855, but coastal fog caused the light to be relocated about 125 lower on this point in 1877. Originally there was a trail out to the tower, but it eroded away and was replaced by a suspension bridge in 1940. This is the only lighthouse in the country that can be reached by a suspension bridge. The half mile walk from the parking lot down the trail to the light is pretty cool as well, involving another bridge and tunnel.
