Fitting Farewell.
After arriving back at O'Hare under clouds, flight 2774 receives the water cannon salute as it taxis back to the gate with the United employees. The end of regular flights for the Queens comes this weekend with the final departure of a 747 in regular service on Saturday from SFO to Incheon. The last inbound will be on Sunday when the 747 returns on the inbound leg from Incheon. The final farewell flight will take place on November 7th, when a 747 will fly from SFO to Honolulu in honor of the first United 747 flight back in July of 1970.
