Bristol Street Subway
This subway formed a link from the railway village and town to the south, and the Great Western Railway Works to the north of the mainline. It was opened on 5th February 1870, and was the principal access to thousands of workers from the railway village and town to the railway works. It is 116m long, 4.6m wide and 2.1m high. It is Grade II listed, along with GWR Works entrance and former carriage trimming shop.
