Perkins Power

Croda agricultural Limited has chosen a Perkins V8.540 vehicle diesel engine as the power unit for it's new Ford D 2817 drawbar skip loader and trailer unit. This unusual vehicle operates from Croda's Sheffield depot on a trunking operation collecting and transferring butchers waste for processing into animal feed stuffs and tallow. The vehicle was supplied by Currie Trucks Ltd, of Stamford Hill, London
