Often unnoticed

30 Days of Perception - Day 12

This rusty, metal grid is to allow rainwater to drain away at the entrance to a building. I often pass this way to go on my neighbourhood walks, but this time I lingered to notice things differently. I was able to enjoy colour, shape and texture and pattern. There's also a certain rhythm to the way the stones have fallen into the grid.
