Going Abstract - Week 2 - Essence
The words of photographer Eddie Soloway: "What is that particular jewel of a moment that sings to you?" This really resonated with me. It seems to be the very basis of wanting to capture anything on camera.
Soloway's photography speaks to all my senses, especially his way of capturing colour and light. Totally delicious!
Since we cannot see the wind, but only know of its presence by what we feel on our skin, or what we see moving around us.
I created this image with ICM (intentional camera movement). It seemed appropriate for the name I had given it. I like the way the movement, imitating the wind, has created short bursts of dynamic energy, creating separate spikes and also a softer blending of more diffused colours. Just like the wind.
