Hoddom Tower 1

Now here's a place with a certain amount of charm, but much in need of some TLC (and cash!). Hoddom Castle has suffered its share of ups and downs (literally) since construction started in the late 1560s. Much of the ugly mansion that was built onto it has now been demolished (see the old marks on the stair tower), and the castle's estate is at least a much enjoyed holiday destination for caravaners and campers these days.
