Catnap
A couple of weeks ago, I posted a shot of the Hiram Buttrick Sawmill, in Antioch, Illinois, a replica of a mill that was built near this spot in 1839. Here's a closeup shot of the water wheel from the mill, which includes a visitor that I hadn't even noticed when I first photographed the mill. The cat seemed to be fast asleep. I would say that it's probably a feral cat, but on the other hand, it looks to be pretty well fed, so I dunno...
Addendum: Thanks to RevDrPepper, aka Ron Brauer, for pointing out a second cat in this image--a black one on the right side of the wheel. I hadn't seen it until he pointed it out.
