Too Close To Photograph!
I was on our deck attempting to photograph a tiny toad (or frog?) that had come to visit. When it leaped and landed on the glass UV filter on the front of my macro lens, I quickly ran into the house for another camera and managed to get this shot, which works well for this week's Macro Mondays theme: Glass.
The lens filter is 55mm, or 2.16 inches in diameter, so this square-cropped image fits within the Macro Mondays 3-inch maximum size requirement. As you can tell, the critter was really tiny.
