It's The Future...
Well... For me it is, anyway.
Even though robot vacuum cleaners have been around as consumer products for about 15 years, I just acquired my first one a couple of days ago, and so far, I'm lovin' it. It runs all by itself, and does a decent job on both hardwood floors and carpets, and I think it's going to reduce how often my wife and I will need to operate the regular vacuum cleaner.
For this image, I put the robot in spot cleaning mode, in which it moves around in a spiral pattern. I combined the light trails from that shot--a double exposure--with another single shot of the robot, and added some processing to enhance the futuristic look.
