Tracing

I put the Pellon paper over the printed number, and then held the layers up against the window to trace the number onto the Pellon paper. Be sure to trace on the thin paper side, not on the rough gritty side.

Before layering and tracing, I flipped the numbers so they would be backwards, so that when they were ironed onto the shirts, they would ultimately be the correct direction. It really hurt my brain to figure this out. In short, the printed side of the number paper was against the window. I was looking at the back of the number paper. Then I put the pellon paper on top of the number, gritty side against the number paper, smooth thin side against me. I drew on that smooth side with a pencil. I just held it up with my hands (i.e. I didn't use tape or anything to hold it to the window for tracing.)
