Billy is fascinated by Pip's continuously waving tail and would love to play with it. So far, however, he is only allowed to briefly touch it with one of his huge paws. Experience has taught him that there is a risk involved in doing so. After almost every touch he automatically rolls over on his back to prevent retaliation.
