Distorted Visions
This lake has a seemingly volatile problem haunting its rippling surface. You may have noticed it at a glance, though some might not possess such acute observational skills. In any case, the lake looks as though it is on an earth a quarter the size of ours. In fact, that isn't even a true figure. It was just pulled from the random imaginatory depths of my brain. And also, I'm typing this whole paragraph with my eyes closed in a half-asleep state. But I opened them to correct my speeling errors, because only Joe Booker has those.
Today was interesting in that there was no school due to teachers striking. I actually saw one of the teachers, Rebselj, striking up at the school as I drove by. He seemed so out of his element, but then again I did see him once riding his bike home or something, which was probably more out of his element than this was. Or perhaps I should reconsider my whole idea of what his element is. In fact, what is one's element? Is it where they spend most of their time? Or how they spend it? Or is it just the preconceived notions injected in our brains by means of defunct prejudism? Too bad I didn't take Theory of Knowledge.
I also went to Peter's house and wrecked my wrists playing impossible DDR songs repeatedly. And then I ate dinner at his house, which was a nice change from having the old English style plain bland dinners here at my Dad's house. The asian cuisine never ceases to amaze me, though I seldom have the opportunity to experience it.
I also drove for my first time in the dark. In fact, I drove for the first time in a long time. You see, it's difficult to drive without a license, and it's difficult to find your license when it's lost. I was going to go buy a replacement for $17.00 today with my Mom, but I somehow managed to find it in the envelope they send out schedules from the school in. I suppose I put it there for house-to-house transportation.
